LOOK: UNC basketball runs Carolina Mile

The UNC basketball program has officially run the ‘Carolina Mile’ on Monday morning as conditioning continues this summer.

The ‘Carolina Mile‘ is an annual tradition for the basketball team each Summer for conditioning purposes. It’s been a staple in the program for years as players need to meet certain times to pass the conditioning test.

And for 2023, the team ran the mile on Monday morning.

North Carolina’s social accounts posted photos of the players during and after the mile on Monday morning, catching the reactions and emotions that go through running it for the program. Check out some images of players including R.J. Davis, Armando Bacot, Harrison Ingram and more for the mile on Monday:

The results for the mile have not been posted just yet but should be available at some point this week.

North Carolina continues to prep for the 2023-24 season, coming off a tough campaign last year where they missed the NCAA Tournament. With a lot of new faces including three new starters, Hubert Davis and the staff have the task of turning this thing around.
