Former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is gearing up for his third season in the NFL since being drafted by the Miami Dolphins at No. 5 overall in 2020.
Heading into 2022, there is an immense amount of pressure on Tagovailoa to stay healthy and perform at a high level. The front office drafted his former Alabama wide receiver, Jaylen Waddle, in 2021 and brought in some stellar free agents: speedster receiver Tyreek Hill and one of the nation’s best offensive tackles in Terron Armstead just to name a few.
The pieces are there for Tagovailoa, but can he lead the Dolphins team to an impressive 2022 season and silence the doubters that bring every aspect of his game down? He certainly showed that he’s capable of it at today’s Dolphins training camp, which was open to the public.
