Heisman-winning quarterback Joe Burrow and the LSU Tigers will be playing for a National Championship in New Orleans after demolishing the Oklahoma Sooners in the 2019 Peach Bowl.
The final score of the game was a disheartening 28-63.
Jalen Hurts rushed for two touchdowns, but was unable to throw one into the end zone as he went 15 for 31 with 217 yards and an interception.
Oklahoma’s poor performance was embarrassing on the field, but it might get worse the second they log on to social media.
Here’s what twitter had to say:
Alabama only lost by 5 while playing the worst quarter in UA modern fb history.
Auburn lost by 3.
LSU is excellent, but this is an indictment of Oklahoma. https://t.co/pUAlXczVOr

I see nothing but facts in this tweet.
An #LSU staff member this week called Oklahoma the fifth best team the Tigers have faced this season – behind Alabama, Auburn, Florida and Georgia.
Things are materializing as such.

Yet Alabama finished the regular season ranked No. 13?
Sucks to be an Oklahoma fan. Eliminated by three different SEC teams in the playoffs the last three years: Georgia, Alabama, LSU. There’s no SEC bias, the @sec is that good! #nfl https://t.co/rFlSIN7dn9

It’s worth noting that only one of those games were relatively close in the end.
Auburn and Alabama, which lost to LSU by 3 and 5 points respectively, were ranked 12th and 13th in the final CFP rankings. Think about that as #4 Oklahoma is getting boat raced by 35 at the half.

“Boat raced” is a new one, but I might have to steal that. There is also no lie found in this tweet.
Alabama with Mac Jones>Oklahoma with Jalen. Do not @ me.

Why would you say something so brave, yet so controversial?
How college football fans looking at the CFP Committee for putting Oklahoma in the playoffs again. pic.twitter.com/S6uYUOIoVN

But… but… Bama fatigue?
Teams which did not make the @CFBPlayoff which definitely would have put up a better fight than Oklahoma…
-Alabama
-Georgia
-Oregon
-Penn State
-Notre Dame
-Wisconsin
-Auburn
-Utah
-Iowa
-Michigan

Some of these are questionable, but I think I understand what you’re trying to get at.
This is Oklahoma’s 4th CFP appearance. They have never advanced to the championship.
Points they have given up:
37 (Clemson)
54 (Georgia)
44 (Alabama)
49*** (LSU)***ITS ONLY HALFTIME

Oklahoma’s defense loves handing out points more than Oprah loved giving gifts.
