LOOK: Raiders QB Derek Carr’s passing chart from Week 14

Another week, another strong day for Derek Carr. Despite a late-game interception when the game was already out of hand, Carr was able to complete 31 of 45 passes for 316 yards and two touchdowns.

Carr wasn’t as aggressive as usual in this game, but he did take a few chances down the field. His best throw of the game went to Nelson Agholor down the sideline for a monster gain. A few plays later, Carr hit Agholor in the end zone on a seam route for a touchdown.

Here is Carr’s full passing chart from Week 14 via the NFL’s Next Gen Stats:

The worst play of the day for Carr came in the red zone as defensive back Kenny Moore III intercepted a pass with one hand that was intended for Darren Waller. It wasn’t a bad throw from Carr but rather a great play by the defensive back. Sometimes, you just have to tip your hat to the opponent and recognize the fantastic play.

With just three games left in the 2020 season, the Raiders need to win out to have any shot at the playoffs. But with Carr playing this well, that’s not all that unreasonable despite a poor defense. Look for the veteran quarterback to finish the season strong as this might be the best year of his career.
