LOOK: Penn State cools off in the pool and opens fall camp

Penn State closed out summer with fun by the pool and getting to work at the start of fall camp.

A summer of coaching changes and roster transition is in the books. The preseason expectations are beginning to be shared. The media day circuit is over and it’s time to get to work.

Penn State opened fall camp on Friday with their first practice heading into the 2021 college football season, with the Nittany Lions looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2020 season. Head coach James Franklin has said how much he is looking forward to seeing what his team will do in 2021, and that feeling is mutual among Penn State fans thirsty to see their beloved Nittany Lions return to form.

As the summer closed out, Penn State players gathered for some fun times at the pool, and even got a chance to get their coaches drenched in the process. But with the opening of camp, it is not all fun and games as Penn State prepares to take on a challenging 2021 schedule.

Penn State put on the pads and put in practice number one of fall camp and is already bringing the intensity needed to turn in a solid effort this season.
