LOOK: Oklahoma’s Big 12 Championship ring from 2020 season is in

Oklahoma has won five-straight Big 12 Championships, and the rings from the latest one are in. Here is what they look like.

Oklahoma has won five-straight Big 12 Championships.

That’s every year since Lincoln Riley arrived from East Carolina in 2015. The Sooners won the last two Big 12 Championships without a conference championship game in 2015 and ’16, then have one each of the Big 12 Championships since the conference championship game returned in 2017.

The rings from the 2019 Big 12 Championship win over Baylor are in.

The 2019 Sooners caused a lot of stress and anxiety for fans. They won three of the last four games by one possession, including the historic 34-31 comeback win over Baylor on the road.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts was a Heisman Trophy finalist while CeeDee Lamb was a Biletnikoff Award finalist for the country’s best pass-catcher regardless of position. Oklahoma’s defense, led by new defensive coordinator Alex Grinch, improved in every single category besides turnovers.

The Sooners finished 12-1 in the regular season and were beaten by LSU 63-28 in the College Football Playoff at the Peach Bowl.
