Unlike last year, when Michigan football had exactly zero spring practices, this year, the Wolverines managed to get the full complement of practices in. And on Saturday, that culminated in the spring game.
However, unlike most years when fans or media are allowed to witness the final scrimmage of the spring sessions, the only people in attendance were family and friends of those participating.
The ‘teams’ came out in color rush style, with one team wearing maize jerseys and maize pants, while their counterparts were clad in all blue. Third-year quarterback Cade McNamara led the maize team, winning game MVP, per reports, while defeating the blue team, 22-10.
The official Michigan football account released highlights from the ‘game’ where you can see snippets of the maize vs. blue going at it in The Big House.
