Jalen Ramsey sure seems determined to wear No. 2 with the Los Angeles Rams, attempting to switch his jersey number from No. 20 after the NFL approved a new rule that loosens up restrictions on position-specific numbers. Defensive backs are now allowed to wear single-digits and Ramsey has had his eye on No. 2 since the proposal was made by the Chiefs.
He’ll have to work something out with Robert Woods, who also wants to wear No. 2 after rocking it in high school and college, but Ramsey shared a sneak peek of himself in that coveted number on Instagram.
He posted a photoshopped picture of himself on his Instagram story, with the message, “Look good don’t it? Lol.”

If a player switches his jersey number for the upcoming season, he will have to buy out the remaining inventory of his current jersey. But if he waits until 2022, he won’t have to buy it out, thus making it much cheaper.
Ramsey also seems to be considering No. 5 based on his recent tweets, which would also be an awesome number for the All-Pro cornerback. He and Woods are trying to work something out, so we’ll have to wait and see who comes away with No. 2.
