The jury is still out on whether fans will attend NFL games this season. Major League Baseball, which opened its season Thursday, will conduct at least their regular season without fans inside the ballpark. While clubs look to normalize a decidedly abnormal situation, some teams have placed cardboard cutouts of fans throughout the stadium to give at least some illusion that there are people in the seats.
The San Francisco Giants are among the teams using cardboard cutouts, and sprinkled in with their cutouts will be 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and tight end George Kittle.
Kittle tweeted a photo of the duo’s cutouts alongside Bay Area rapper and 49ers fan E-40.
The closest I can get to @JimmyG_10 talking to me in the offseason … @E40 knows what’s good tho! Good luck tonight @SFGiants 🔥🔥🔥 pic.twitter.com/6Xs5kQ5ONv

It’s important to note celebrity chef Guy Fieri is also in the crowd. Rather than do the normal thing about fan attendance questions in the NFL, we decided to rank some of the celebrities in this photo in order of how much fun it would be to go to a baseball game with them.
8 | Tony Bennett
This is no shade at Bennett, who’s song ‘I left my heart in San Francisco’ earned him two of his 20 Grammys. It would be cool to hang out with Bennett — a wildly successful musician who’s 93 years on Earth have undoubtedly spawned a million incredible stories. However, it’s hard to imagine someone of his stature being loud and smashing hot dogs and cold beers on a warm summer day. Those are all requirements for peak enjoyment.
7 | Rob Schneider
Schneider seems like a guy who would constantly do bits from his old movies. That would be a wildly good time for two, maybe three innings. Three innings of “you can do it!” shouts is the maximum amount of innings that would be entertaining.
5 | Jimmy Garoppolo
Going to a baseball game with Garoppolo is probably a rocking good time if you are friends with him. I am not friends with Garoppolo, so he probably would be pretty reserved because he has a brand and an image to maintain. Surely it would be fine, but the ceiling for this situation is much higher than Garoppolo would likely go with a stranger.
5 | Frank Sinatra
Hanging out with any member of the Rat Pack would probably be wild, and the baseball game would only be an appetizer for an insane evening. However, Sinatra carried an air of swagger and class that would probably put a damper on a lame sports blogger’s mood.
4 | E-40
One time someone on Twitter wrote that you can say “Andre Iguodala” 10 times fast and do an E-40 verse. I think about that a lot.
3 | Dean Martin
A member of the Rat Pack who was also responsible for some iconic celebrity roasts? Yes please.
2 | George Kittle
So, Kittle would probably have some of the same reservations about going all out in front of a stranger that Garoppolo has. He seems like the kind of guy who wants to ensure everyone is having a good time though. It may take a few innings, but once he warmed up to the stranger he’s watching a game with it’d undoubtedly be a fun way to spend a day.
1 | Guy Fieri
Fieri can talk about sports and food, and the pregame feast would be electric. Catch me and Guy with our season tickets to Flavortown.
