Coby White has started to find his groove with the Chicago Bears after signing an extension in the offseason. This year has by far been White’s best season in the pros finally finding his role.
The guard is averaging 18.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.9 assists per game while shooting 45.2 percent from the field. He’s also shooting 40 percent from the three-point line.
White has provided a big boost for a Bulls team that is hanging around the Eastern Conference playoff picture. And on Thursday, he continued his hot play again on the road in Toronto. But before the game, he connected with a former Tar Heel as he and Vince Carter met before the game.

White scored 23 points in the Bulls’ win over the Raptors, doing it in front of Carter who spent the first part of his career with the Raptors. Carter was in the TNT booth for the game doing some color commentary. He will continue to do select games as he progresses his broadcasting career.
