Former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson has been in the news quite a bit lately.

But it’s hard to complain when the headlines are always good, right?

This time, Chad pops up in the news because he left a $1,000 tip on a bill for $37.40. He popped in at Havana’s Cuban Cuisine in Florida and left a fitting note that reads just…so Chad: “Congrats on re-opening, sorry about the pandemic, hope this helps. I LOVE YOU.”

Chad always drops big tips on even small bills, though usually, it’s the recipient of the tip letting the news leak out. He wasn’t too shy about this one:

The restaurant offered the following:

Otherwise, Chad was most recently in the news because the Bengals organization made a point to give him a handwritten letter because he’s been such a great team ambassador.
