You know you’re in the final stages of stadium construction when the name goes on. As of today, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas is officially labeled as such.
There have been pictures showing up each step of the way the past few days. Starting with, of course, the first couple letters “al”. Befitting for the Raiders late owner Al Davis, which could lead to the stadium nickname “The Al.”
Cassie Soto of the Las Vegas Review-Journal posted a nifty time-lapse video of the sunrise portion of the Allegiant logo going up. And then a shot of the finished logo.

A twitter user caught a shot of the logo just after completion and you get to see what it looks like from the I-15 freeway. That’s an objectively gorgeous stadium.
Currently, the last exterior piece to be put in place is the roof, which the Allegiant Stadium twitter mentioned four days ago with a video, saying “preparing to put a top on this bad boy.”

There is still much work to be done on the interior portions of the stadium which is on schedule for completion in July.
