Lonzo Ball returns to recording booth during NBA hiatus, teases new song

With the NBA on hiatus, Lonzo Ball has found a way to fill his free time by returning to the recording studio.

While the NBA has been on a hiatus with the league suspended indefinitely, Lonzo Ball has remained active both on the court and off the court. Ball has posted both pictures and videos from the Pelicans practice facility alongside Brandon Ingram.

Off the court, though, he has made a return to the studio to record a new song. DJ Akademiks shared a post on his Instagram of Ball in the recording studio hyping up his new song.

While it’s not the best quality of sound, Ball raps out the following lines of the song (h/t Hip Hop DX)

“You got a man, who is your man
Yeah, (expletive) it he just an obstacle
Jump on this jet lets go somewhere tropical
Knock his (expletive) down like you do with a domino
Fill up your heart with these diamonds in different stores
What is the price, I don’t know.”

Ball has had a publicized career rapping. Last season with the Lakers, Ball worked in the studio with JaVale McGee, who recently produced a song for Justin Bieber, and created a song with Lance Stephenson as well. And all of that is preceded by his studio album, Born 2 Ball.
