The phrase “trust the process” has always been something synonymous with work. The “process” is a series of events that happens for a person to achieve some type of success.
The phrase became popular by the Philadelphia 76ers during their rebuilding efforts in the middle of the 2010’s decade and it is the nickname of star big man Joel Embiid. He is the face of the franchise and the face of what “the process” means.
On Wednesday, the Detroit Pistons signed LiAngelo Ball to a non-guaranteed contract as they prepare for their training camp to get underway. His brother, Lonzo, reacted to LiAngelo signing in Detroit and he gave a “trust the process” shout to Embiid on Twitter.

The Ball family now has all three players currently in the NBA with Lonzo with the New Orleans Pelicans, LiAngelo in Detroit, and LaMelo with the Charlotte Hornets.
