The on-again, off-again relationship is back on again, the couple confirmed on the latest episode of “Ball in the Family.” Their relationship has been one of the central focuses throughout the entirety of the show, which is now in its sixth season.
The show started by showcasing their relationship in the early years of Ball’s time in the NBA stretching through the birth of their daughter Zoey. They have also shown the more tumultuous times, including their most recent break-up that was the messiest of any of them. However, as the two confirmed on the latest episode of “Ball in the Family,” they have been working in private at mending fences and getting back together.
Both of them talked about getting back together on the episode, with Ball talking about each of them maturing.
“I think time, for one, and just being more mature about the stuff that went on between us. I think over time, you learn to forgive people and see the other side of things and I think that’s what we’ve both done. We’re going to try to make it work again.”
Garcia, who has been at the center of drama in their relationship at times, also admitted to growing up and learning from previous mistakes.
“I think we’ve both grown and I think we’ve learned from our mistakes and no matter has happened between us, like no matter how ugly it gets, like we always find a way back together.”
To the credit of the couple, they have both stated that Zoey’s future would remain the focus regardless of how their relationship was going. Since the lockdown in March, Ball has featured Zoey on his Instagram Story more often, which also is discussed in the first episodes of the most recent season.
