Bleacher Report’s Game of Zones posted its latest season finale on Thursday with a handful of New Orleans Pelicans featured in a cameo spot.
The seventh season of Bleacher Report’s creation has taken a different path from season’s past. With the NBA season on hold, the direction of the season focused on the media covering the game and the argument for the greatest player of all-time.
Running similar to the final season of Game of Thrones, the 1992 Dream Team took the role as the “White Walkers” attacking the NBA. The players eventually voted on a 2019-20 version of the Dream Team to save the league.
Unsurprisingly, the current players win the battle and James crowns himself as the greatest ever over Michael Jordan. During James’ victory speech to the rest of the league, he first begins by thanking his teammates.
At that moment, the camera cuts to the trio of Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart in Pelicans colors with questioning faces. Obviously, the trio were teammates with James on the Lakers last season before being traded to the Pelicans for Anthony Davis.
The whole season of Game of Zones is a must-watch. Given the lack of activities to do during quarantine, watching this season one afternoon will be a treat.
