Longhorns five-star WR target Jamie Ffrench reveals his final four schools

After landing a five-star recruit in Kaliq Lockett, the Longhorns are hopeful another one could be on the way in WR Jamie Ffrench. On Friday, the talented wide receiver who is in the 2025 class revealed his final four list of schools. His list includes Texas, LSU, Miami, and Tennessee.

During his high school career, Ffrench has dazzled scouts with his skills as he has racked up receptions. During the 2023 campaign, he recorded a career-high 1,247 receiving yards on 62 receptions. He also added 14 touchdowns to his resume. As he enters his senior season, French has 2034 receiving yards in his career for Mandarin High School.

With his commitment day 20 days away, Ffrench is a big fan of the Longhorns offense, which is an encouraging sign.

“That Sark staff, a little bit of the offense,” Ffrench told On3 in the spring.“Chris Jackson, he knows what he’s doing with the receivers, he’s been in the league for a good little bit.”

If the Longhorns can land the Jacksonville native, their 2025 wide receiver class would be one of the best in the nation. They have specialized in producing wide receivers, another quality that sets the program apart.

As of Saturday, Ffrench was ranked as No. 23 player nationally, the No. 5 wide receiver, and the No. 4 player in Florida, according to On3. As the Longhorns prepare for their season opener, securing the services of Ffrench will be a top priority.
