While the 2025 college baseball season is still months away, fans can start marking their calendars. On Thursday, the Texas Longhorns released their 2025 conference schedule. Next season will be the Longhorns’ first in the SEC.

A new conference means the Longhorns will face a new unfamiliar faces. Their list of SEC opponents includes Mississippi State, LSU, Kentucky, Florida, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma. The conference fun will begin on March 14-16 with a series against Mississippi State.

During the 2025 campaign, Texas is set to welcome Georgia, Florida, Texas A&M, and LSU to UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The Longhorns’ first home series against an SEC team will come against LSU from March 21-23. They are set to go on the road to face Kentucky, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri.

After the regular season ends, the Longhorns will start battling for a conference in late May. The SEC Conference Tournament is scheduled for May 20-25 at the Hoover Met.

Although the Longhorns will have a new set of challenges next year, they have performed well in conference play in the past. During the 2024 season, they finished with a 20-10 record against conference opponents. That type of success will go a long way against some of the best teams in the country.
