When will Logan Paul make his next WWE appearance? If it’s up to him, as soon as possible.
Paul used part of the most recent episode of his Impaulsive YouTube show to discuss how he’s been watching WWE programming with a different eye now that he’s been in the ring a few times, and that he’s anxious to step in the ring again (h/t Wrestling Observer for the transcription).
I am so hungry to get back in there, dude, I’m so hungry to get back in there and I just got cable. I just got cable down here in Puerto Rico. So, I’ve been watching Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown, and the big events, Night of Champions just happened, as a fan.
For the first time, I’m watching the consumer angle, I didn’t always do that. As a YouTuber I got to go and be a YouTuber because I knew what people were looking for and what they wanted and what made a good video and kept the audience, retained. Now as a WWE fan, I can see how the performance translates from what it feels like from my perspective to on TV and I think this angle in these last three months I’ve had off in this sport will lead to an amazing next couple years in the WWE.
I’m really excited to get back.
Paul’s most recent match came in April at WrestleMania 39, when he once again impressed, albeit in a losing effort against Seth Rollins. Among the memorable spots in that bout was Paul accidentally splashing his friend and business partner KSI through an announce table.
While that was the final match under his previous WWE deal, ESPN reported that Paul re-signed with the company on April 10 to a multi-year deal. It remains to be seen exactly how he’ll be used, with Mike Tyson openly campaigning for a match with him while Becky Lynch seemingly threw shade in his direction by expressing her dislike for “part-timers” on premium live events in a recent interview.
