Sean McVay didn’t have much of a voice after Saturday’s win over the Seahawks, which he suggested was an indication of just how excited he and his players were to beat their division rivals. He had enough of a voice to give an uplifting speech to the team in the locker room afterwards, though, firing up his players after the playoff win.
The Rams no longer share videos of the locker room celebrations, likely to avoid COVID-19 violations, but they did upload a soundbite from McVay’s postgame speech – and he was fired up.
“What we said last night was true. We expected to do this. Nobody acted surprised,” he said.
Give his speech a listen, as he also gave out a game ball to the defense for an outstanding performance, highlighted by Darious Williams’ pick-six.
