It’s no secret that Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown not only idolizes Julio Jones, but also wants to team up with him in Nashville.
But now Brown is going directly to the source to make his pitch, as the Ole Miss product sent Jones a direct audio message on Instagram trying to convince the star wide receiver to come to the Titans.
In the message, Brown says Jones can be the Titans’ No. 1 receiver and he’ll help take the load off when the veteran is tired.
He also states that Jones, who wears No. 11 as well, might have to change his number since Brown’s college digit, which is retired thanks to quarterback Warren Moon, is unavailable.

Brown isn’t the only Titans players to publicly support a trade for Jones, as both running back Derrick Henry, who recently worked out with Jones, and left tackle Taylor Lewan have both made it clear they want him in Tennessee.
Take this for what it’s worth, but on Tuesday NBC Sports’ Chris Simms gave us an interesting nugget, saying the Titans — along with the New England Patriots — are one of the teams Jones has his eyes on as a possible trade destination.
While the Titans are currently strapped for cash and can’t fit Jones’ 2021 salary in, general manager Jon Robinson does have contract restructures at his disposal to create more cap space to make it work.
The fans want it, the players want it, and it’s possible Julio might want it. Time to make this happen, JRob!
