Two more members of the Detroit Lions draft class of 2021 have signed their rookie contracts. Defensive end Levi Onwuzurike and inebacker Derrick Barnes inked their deals with the team on Thursday.
Barnes, selected in the fourth round, announced the signing himself, posting on his Instagram account. Second-round pick Onwuzurike had signed his earlier in the day.
The signings leave all but two members of GM Brad Holmes’ initial draft class signed before training camp. Only CB Ifeatu Melifonwu and WR Amon-Ra St. Brown remain unsigned.
