The first practice participation report for the week reveals an optimistic tone for the Lions. Every player on the active roster was at least a limited participant in Wednesday’s session in advance of the Week 8 visit from the Philadelphia Eagles.
Four players were limited in the session, including cornerback AJ Parker. The rookie slot CB left Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams with a neck injury and head coach Dan Campbell indicated Parker could be in danger of missing this Sunday’s game with the wound. But he was a limited participant, a fair sign that the injury isn’t significant or bound to keep Parker out for an extended time.
The four Lions who were limited:
OLB Trey Flowers (knee)
TE T.J. Hockenson (knee)
CB AJ Parker (neck)
RB D’Andre Swift (groin)
The only other player listed was fullback Jason Cabinda, who missed last week with a hip injury.
