The hits just keep coming for the Los Angeles Rams. After already losing Brandon Staley to the Chargers, as well as Brad Holmes to the Lions, the Rams will now see another key member of the organization leave.
According to Steve Wyche of NFL Network, Holmes and the Lions are hiring Rams cornerbacks coach Aubrey Pleasant as their new secondary coach. Pleasant interviewed for the job recently and has accepted Detroit’s offer. It’s a big loss for the Rams after seeing how well the corners have played under Pleasant the last four years.
Former @RamsNFL CB Coach Aubrey Pleasant has accepted the job with the @Lions as their secondary coach/passing game coordinator. Huge get for Detroit, tough loss for the Rams

Pleasant joined the Rams in 2017 when Sean McVay was hired and has coached the cornerbacks since. Because this is technically a promotion from cornerbacks coach to secondary coach, McVay was unable to block Pleasant from interviewing.
McVay and new defensive coordinator Raheem Morris will now need to find a cornerbacks coach to replace Pleasant.
They also need a new linebackers coach after Joe Barry was hired by the Chargers.
