Lions’ Aidan Hutchinson carted off with gruesome leg injury

Aidan Hutchinson of the Lions suffered an apparent leg injury in the third quarter against the Cowboys

One of the best defensive players in the league, Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, was carted off the field in the third quarter of the game with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday at AT&T Stadium.

Hutchinson sacked Dak Prescott on the play. There was a sense of urgency as he remained down and trainers rushed to his side.

On the FOX broadcast, Kevin Burkhardt said if you could read lips it looked like Hutchinson said he broke it.

The game was paused for several minutes as Hutchinson was being worked on. FOX said the injury was so gruesome it would not show the replay.
