Lions agree to terms with CB Quinton Dunbar

Dunbar comes to the Lions from the Seahawks

The Detroit Lions are adding free agent cornerback Quinton Dunbar to the roster. Mike Garafolo of NFL.com first reported the signing as related to him by Dunbar’s agent at Elite Loyalty Sports.

Dunbar visited with the Lions on Monday and didn’t leave without signing with the team. He had another free agent visit scheduled with the Arizona Cardinals, but he won’t need to make the trip to Phoenix.

The 28-year-old Dunbar played for the Seattle Seahawks in 2020 after spending his first five seasons with the Washington Football Team. He has 180 tackles and 10 interceptions in 64 career games. His 2020 season ended after just six games due to knee surgery.

Terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed.
