Easily the most surprising line of the Wisconsin basketball year to date is tomorrow, when the Badgers head to East Lansing to take on Michigan State.
According to BetMGM, the Badgers are sitting at -1.5 point favorites on the road at Michigan State. That means a bet on Wisconsin against the spread would only cash out if they win by two points or more. For context, East Lansing is a place that Wisconsin is 0-8 in this decade, so for the Badgers to be favored at Sparty? Surprising to say the least. With the Spartans coming off of a terrible road loss to Northwestern in a game that never felt close, don’t expect a repeat performance from a Tom Izzo-led basketball team.
The line opened at most places with Michigan State favored by around 1.5 points, and with heavy money coming in on the Badgers, that line has since shifted.
