For the first time of the entire 2020 season, Oklahoma had more than one player missing due to injury and a couple of others go down in the Texas game two weeks ago.
The weather for OU-Texas was brutal. It was humid and hot, which can happen for the game in Dallas the second weekend of Oct., but it’s not the norm.
The Sooners did not have many players cramp up, but starting H-Back Jeremiah Hall and starting defensive end Isaiah Thomas did go down with injuries. H-Back counterpart Brayden Willis was not in attendance for the second-straight game and starting running back Seth McGowan was on the sidelines not suited up.
For Hall, Willis and McGowan, it seems as if they will be ready for the TCU game.
“We had a couple of guys nicked up in the Texas game,” Lincoln Riley said on Tuesday. “I don’t think anything too serious. The bye week I think came at a good time for those guys.”
Riley would go on to say that Willis is “week-to-week” after suffering an injury in the Kansas State game a month ago.
Oklahoma and TCU will kickoff on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT from Fort Worth, Texas.
