Lincoln Riley discusses how 2025 recruiting class is taking shape

Lincoln Riley has something to say about the Class of 2025 at USC.

The USC football recruiting class for next year took some hits with the decommits of Justus Terry and Isaiah Gibson. Lincoln Riley, in an interview with Steve Wiltfong of On3 Sports, is still upbeat about the Class of 2025 at USC:

“We feel really good,” Riley said. “The class has gotten off to a great start. Really on both sides of the ball. I’d say I’m particularly excited about the defensive recruiting right now and the way that’s been received. The staff, all of it’s changing here. There is a lot of guys that see the vision that we have and see where it’s headed. Guys that really, really want to be part of it. That’s obviously been a focal point for us and that piece is exciting. It’s just going to get better and right now you’re starting to see people realize it.”

USC fans have not seen a steady series of big splashes on the recruiting trail, though some silent commits have been noted in recent weeks and represent legitimate reason for optimism about the direction in which the Class of 2025 is heading for the Trojans.
