LiAngelo Ball to sign with Pistons prior to 2020-21 season

LiAngelo Ball, the middle brother of Lonzo and LaMelo, is reportedly signing a one-year, non-guaranteed contract with the Pistons, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Ball will sign an Exhibit 10 contract with the Pistons and will likely be cut after training camp and funneled to their NBA G League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Drive.
He could earn a signing bonus, up to $50,000, should he spend at least 60 days with the Drive.
The 22-year-old spent a portion of last season in the G League with the Oklahoma City Blue.
He joined the team in December 2019 as a practice player and was set to debut with the Blue prior to the suspension of the G League season due to the coronavirus pandemic
