[autotag]Taylor Mauldin[/autotag] pulled off a first at LFA 107.
When she kneebarred Ambar De La Harren (0-1) in the main card opener, Mauldin (1-0) became the first woman to win with that specific submission in promotion history. The official stoppage came at 1:30 of Round 1.
With the win, Mauldin became just the fourth fighter, male or female, to nail a kneebar since the promotion debuted in January 2017. The feat came in Mauldin’s promotional debut.
Mauldin, 28, fights out of Milennia MMA in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. – the same gym that crafted former UFC fighter and current Bellator middleweight Lorenz Larkin.
