The NBA in-season tournament (IST) has sparked excitement among fans and players alike (star Boston Celtics wing Jaylen Brown‘s safety concerns aside), with league analysts oddly seeming to be among the biggest holdouts so far. The tournament features unique courts and jerseys for each team, with some standing out more than others — and some looking worse for it.
While opinions on the court designs vary, the tournament itself has been widely praised for its ability to generate buzz and differentiate games during the league’s season. Players have expressed their enthusiasm for the event, seeing it as an opportunity to showcase their skills in a special setting and create a memorable experience for fans (and make some extra money).
