Miami Heat rookie Tyler Herro played all 12 minutes in the first quarter of Game 4 on Tuesday night versus the Los Angeles Lakers and performed well, for the most part. That is, until, he was matched up 1-on-1 with LeBron James.
Herro scored four points, three rebounds and one steal during the first quarter as the Heat trailed the Lakers 27-22 at the end of the period. He earned the start again in place of Goran Dragic and made a number of nice plays, including a pretty one-handed layup over Anthony Davis.
However, the strong first-quarter run for Herro came to an end after James abused him in a fastbreak situation.
The sequence unfolded when James intercepted a pass off Herro and was then off to the races. With Herro on him, James appeared to lean into Herro just a touch and the rookie proceeded to go flying down the court. After the replay, Herro may have exaggerated the contact just a bit.
We will let you be the judge of that:

The opinion on social media afterward appeared to be split on if James shoved Herro or if the rookie flopped. James holds a big size advantage over Herro but even with that said, it looked as though Herro may have flopped on the play.
Unfortunately for Herro, the call in that situation will always go to the future Hall of Famer…
