LeBron James’ troublesome knee is acting up again, and as a result, he will miss Monday’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs.
Via ESPN:
“LeBron James will not play Monday against the San Antonio Spurs because of ‘significant’ soreness in his left knee coming off his 56-point effort against the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers coach Frank Vogel said before the game.”
Just two days ago, he had perhaps his best game as a Laker, scoring 56 points to help his team down the Golden State Warriors at Crypto.com Arena.
The Lakers have just started a brief two-game road trip in Texas. They will complete it on Wednesday by playing the Houston Rockets.
Vogel is reportedly “hopeful” that his MVP will be able to suit up for that contest.
