LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers restored order in their best-of-seven series against the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday night, with a blowout victory in Game 2. Among the notable moments from last night’s win was that the national ESPN broadcast had LeBron James mic’d up for the game, which delivered a couple of hilarious moments throughout the game, showing LeBron’s competitiveness and approach to leading his team.
In the first half of Thursday’s game, following a Lakers timeout, the referees gathered around the Lakers baseline to allow the Blazers to pass the ball in. But LeBron noticed that something wasn’t right and got up to demand that the ball rightfully returns to the Lakers.

LeBron was also motivating his teammates, reassuring them they are built for the pressure of the postseason.

The Lakers dictated the pace of play in each of the first two games. So while LeBron hasn’t been scoring at a high rate, it’s pretty clear his belief in the team is still very high given that they’ve been able to control the rules of engagement through two games.
