LeBron James, Tyler Herro saw most growth in social media followers in NBA Restart

LeBron James dwarfed the growth of anybody else in terms of social media followers since the NBA restarted back in late July.

While LeBron James has been doing the unthinkable on the court in his 17th season, he’s been incredibly busy off the court as well. His ‘More Than A Vote’ non-profit has been working diligently to open stadiums across the country as polling places and helping ex-felons get their voting rights back. His entertainment businesses have struck deals with Disney and Universal Studios since the restart and he has the best-selling jersey in the league. He’s also been The King of the NBA when it comes to social media growth during the NBA restart.

The NBA tabulated the growth in social media followers since the NBA Restart and LeBron James dwarfed the competition, seeing a growth of over 4 million followers across Twitter and Instagram. Second to LeBron was Miami Heat rookie Tyler Herro, followed by Portland Trail Blazers star and Seeding Games MVP Damian Lillard.
