The NBA officially returned Thursday night for the first time since mid-March and it didn’t take long for everyone to be reminded just how great LeBron James is at the game of basketball.
The Lakers and Clippers played another tight game that could very well be a preview of the Western Conference Finals and when it mattered the most LeBron was there to show everyone that he’s the best player in the world.
He might have only had 16 points for the Lakers but none were bigger than his final two which came on an incredible put-back of his own shot that gave the Lakers the lead for good moments after Paul George had tied it with a 3-pointer.

Then he did things on the defensive end by shutting down Kawhi Leonard and Paul George down:

LeBron took on both Kawhi and Paul George on that last possession. That's exactly what you want to see from your superstar in a clutch moment… a playoff-like stop.
