LeBron James says he will possibly miss Thursday’s Lakers vs. Warriors game

LeBron James may miss another game when the All-Star break ends due to an injured ankle he has been dealing with.

Although he continues to play at a high level and has missed just seven games this season, LeBron James has been dealing with an injured ankle.

He has consistently been listed on the injury report, and he missed the Los Angeles Lakers’ last game before the All-Star break, a victory over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday.

James admitted during All-Star weekend he has been seeking treatment for his ankle during the break and he will continue to do so over the next few days. Unfortunately, he said the treatment he will receive could prevent him from playing on Thursday when the Lakers resume their schedule against the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors will not be an easy opponent, even though L.A. has won six of its last seven games and 11 of its last 16. Stephen Curry and crew recently put together a five-game winning streak and have won eight of their last 10.

The two teams faced off against each other in San Francisco on Jan. 27, with the Purple and Gold winning by one point in double overtime.
