It was already an unbelievable shot by LeBron James that gave the Los Angeles Lakers a play-in win over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, what turned out to be the game-winner in a 103-100 win to get the No. 7 seed and a series against the Phoenix Suns.
But you now have to add in the fact that a few plays earlier, a hard foul by Draymond Green (the reaction led to a new LeBron meme) left him with his eye poked, and as James told Rachel Nichols after the win, he said he saw three rims and shot at the middle one on that three-pointer.
Here’s the interview:
LeBron on his game-winning shot:
“After Draymond’s finger to the eye, I was literally seeing three rims out there. I just shot for the middle one”

His teammate Anthony Davis had jokes:
"I think we might need to poke LeBron in the eye a lot more." – @AntDavis23 🤣
