LeBron James made waves earlier this summer when he announced his plans to switch jersey numbers from No. 23 to No. 6.
James has worn No. 23 since his high school days, and that continued during his two stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers and his first three years with the Los Angeles Lakers. He wore No. 6 during his time with the Miami Heat.
The switch became official in June, about a month before the release of “Space Jam: A New Legacy“, which had James wearing No. 6 with the Tune Squad.
For those waiting to get their hands on the new number, it is now available to purchase on the Lakers store:

The jersey adds up to what the leaked photos indicated it would look like.
The “Icon” purple and gold jersey, as seen in the tweet above, costs $119.99. The same price applies to the white “Association” jersey and the purple and black “Swingman” jersey.
There is also a black T-shirt with the new number that costs $34.99.
