LeBron James was the leader for the Los Angeles Lakers as they built impressive first-half leads for the second time in as many nights on Wednesday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder. While the Lakers weren’t able to hold a lead that was as high as 24 points in the second quarter, they still held a 58-46 lead at halftime behind 15 points from LeBron James.
James, after having an excellent night from the 3-point line against the Houston Rockets, was on fire again from the 3-point line as he hit three 3-pointers in the first half of Wednesday night’s game against Houston. He also had a classic breakaway dunk in signature LeBron style.

In addition to LeBron’s nice start, Davis had 12 points in the first half, while the Lakers also got solid bench contributions from Montrezl Harrell and former Oklahoma City Blue player Alex Caruso. The Thunder won’t just fold like the Rockets did last night, however, as they cut the lead in half with just 4 minutes left in the first half. While Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 10 points at halftime, the Thunder shot just 25% from the 3-point line in the first half.
