Even though he was questionable to play the game earlier in the day, LeBron James looked mighty healthy and well enough to sacrifice his body on the floor for his team as they are within striking distance of the Milwaukee Bucks for the best record in the NBA and potentially having homecourt throughout the NBA playoffs.
James had 13 points, four rebounds three assists and one steal in the first half as the Lakers found themselves in a tough game against a scrappy Brooklyn Nets squad that is still trying to make the postseason. The one steal that LeBron had led to Lakers runout that helped them hold a 58-56 lead at halftime.

LeBron’s play, as well as 10 points off the bench from Kyle Kuzma, helped L.A. hold a lead despite a 1 for 6 start to the game for Anthony Davis. As for the Nets, they’ve stayed in the game due in large part to the play of L.A. native Spencer Dinwiddie, who had a game-high 16 points at halftime.
