Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is no stranger to Christmas Day games, but the excitement of being a part of the NBA’s biggest regular season day is something that has not worn off for the King. The Lakers take on Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks in this year’s Christmas Day game for the Lakers, after playing the Warriors and Clippers in each of the last two Christmas Day games.
Last night on Christmas Eve, when many were likely celebrating the holiday with a few drinks and some good food, James joked that he might not be able to sleep much heading into this evening’s game.
Man I’m excited for tomorrow’s Xmas Day game! Like my kids, might be hard for me to sleep tonight too! Lol.🤷🏾♂️

LeBron owns the No. 1 spot in many record books and there’s a chance he could own the scoring record on Christmas after tonight’s game. James is 35 points away from passing the late Kobe Bryant as the NBA’s leading scorer on Christmas All-Time. James only needs 17 points to pass Oscar Robertson to move into 2nd All-Time.
