LeBron James is absolutely still celebrating Taco Tuesday in the NBA bubble

There’s no stopping Taco Tuesday.

When the NBA players first arrived at the bubble campus for the league’s restart at Walt Disney World in Orlando, the early reviews about the food were not exactly positive from the players. We were treated to unappetizing photos of boxed-up meals that had many joking about an end to LeBron James’ Taco Tuesdays.

Well, fear not because Taco Tuesdays are alive and well inside the bubble — at least in spirit.

In the latest edition of JaVale McGee’s video diary from inside the NBA bubble, McGee asked teammate Devontae Cacok if he knew what day it was. This was all a setup for LeBron who was lurking around the entryway.

LeBron chimed in:

“He don’t know what today is? Today is … TACOOOO TUEESSSDAYYYYY.”

Though we never got to see any photos of the bubble’s Taco Tuesday offerings (if they even had any?), LeBron wasn’t going to let the isolation of an NBA bubble get in the way of his undying love for Taco Tuesday.

Time might feel like a flat circle during this pandemic and days are meaningless, but Cacok will never forget about a Tuesday again in LeBron’s presence. That’s for sure.
