“My teammates see me work on it a lot,” James said in regards to his 3-pointer from the logo. “I know I put in the work on it.
“I don’t take shots that I don’t work on. I’ve never done it in my career. I feel like I work on it and trust my mechanics. So, I’m able to let it fly with confidence no matter what’s going on with the shot clock.”
During a timeout following LeBron’s logo three, Anthony Davis, JaVale McGee and Danny Green came over to mid-court to inspect the area that James took off from before hitting the shot.
“That was pretty funny,” James added.
LeBron is shooting more 3-pointers per game than he ever has in his career this season (6.3). This has led to a career-high average in makes (2.2) while connecting on 35.1% from deep.
