LeBron James feared Heat break-up before Game 6 at Boston in 2012

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James gave fans an insight on his mindset prior to what many believe is the best game of his career.

As most of the United States is engaging in social distancing and self-isolation, everyone is looking for ways to spend their time and interact with others amidst a global pandemic. Some of us, like yours truly and LeBron James, are taking to watching old games and with classics on the mind, Omar Raja, who runs the SportsCenter account on Instagram, got a question through to LeBron about what many believe is his greatest game: Game 6 of the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals.

To take it back in time, the Heat were in Boston for Game 6 after Paul Pierce hit a dagger against the Heat to upset them in Game 5 back in Miami. He thought a loss might lead to a break up of the Heat after failing to come up with a championship in their first two seasons, he told his audience on Instagram Live last night.  James, however, did not let that reality come to pass. With that, we’ll let James take it from here as he described his mindset before unleashing 45 points, 15 rebounds and five assists in a crucial Game 6 win.

So now we have a little bit more context about this game, adding a little bit more flavor to it if you want to re-watch it again.
