It seems like a lot of LeBron James’ worlds are colliding these days. Over a month ago, his son Bronny played against his alma mater St. Vincent-St. Mary’s. He finally added Anthony Davis to his squad over the summer and now, the soccer team that he is a part-owner in will finally be repping the one team he’s been with for his entire professional career.
Earlier this week, Liverpool Football Club, which James has been a part-owner of since 2011, announced a multi-year partnership with Nike. James himself teased the announcement a few hours before it was official on his Instagram page.
James is obviously excited to have the football team he’s been with for almost a decade finally teaming up with the brand that he’s represented since he became a professional basketball player in the spring of 2003. Liverpool has had several different sponsors over the years. The changeover to becoming a Nike squad will happen on June 1, 2020.
