LeBron James clearly approves of the Deshaun Watson trade, with the Cleveland Browns agreeing to a trade with the Houston Texans on Friday. LeBron, a Cleveland-native and Los Angeles Lakers star, took to Twitter to celebrate the new quarterback of his favorite football team.
“YESSIR!!!!! #LFG,” he wrote, with no shortage of emojis.
The Browns traded five draft picks, including three first-rounders, for their new quarterback. Cleveland also intends to sign Watson to a five-year, $280 million deal, even with the quarterback facing 22 civil lawsuits of sexual assault and harassment after a grand jury elected not to indict him for those allegations. The NFL has yet to make a ruling about a potential suspension.

Watson will replace Baker Mayfield, the team’s starter since they picked him at No. 1 overall in 2018. The Browns are expected to trade Mayfield.
