LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Patrick Beverley out versus Raptors

The Lakers will be very short-handed when they take on the Raptors on Wednesday.

On Tuesday night, Anthony Davis was suffering from flu-like symptoms. He was in the starting lineup versus the Cleveland Cavaliers, but he left the game in the first quarter and didn’t return.

According to head coach Darvin Ham, Davis had a fever of over 101 degrees, yet he still wanted to play.

Therefore, it is not surprising the superstar big man will not play on Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors in Canada.

Unfortunately, the Los Angeles Lakers will also be without guard Patrick Beverley, who has right knee soreness, and LeBron James, who has left ankle soreness.

In addition, Wenyen Gabriel will miss his second straight game with a sprained left shoulder.

Coming off a 116-102 loss to the Cavs, the Lakers will need an all-hands-on-deck effort to defeat a Raptors team that is 9-3 at home.

Los Angeles’ six-game road trip will resume on Friday when it plays the Philadelphia 76ers.
