LeBron James and Lakers look to bounce-back Wednesday at Knicks

The Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James look to bounceback from their worst loss of the season.

After suffering their worst loss of the season on Monday night in Boston, the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James are set to face off against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night.

It’s the Lakers only trip to New York this season as they will play tomorrow night in Brooklyn against Kyrie Irving and the Nets. But first, they have tonight’s game against the Knicks, who have lost three of their last four games but are coming off of a 20-point blowout victory at Cleveland.

The Knicks are 12-32, good for 13th in the East. But while they are a bad team, they do have some quality players that can serve them in this matchup. Marcus Morris has always been a solid option to throw against LeBron James and Julius Randle has plenty of athleticism to challenge a strong Lakers squad.

However, the Lakers will certainly be motivated to play at the mecca, particularly their leader. LeBron’s last game at the Garden was one to forget and he already tweeted about how much he loves playing there earlier this morning.

Between scoring only 15 points against the Celtics and his last game at MSG ending on a low-note of getting blocked at the buzzer, get your popcorn ready. LeBron is due for a show. By the way, LeBron is only 66 points away from passing Kobe Bryant for No. 3 on the NBA’s All-Time scoring list. What better place would there be than the Garden?
